Head of NOC says discusses restart of Gazprom’s work in Libya

MOSCOW, Oct 2 (PRIME) -- Head of Libya’s National Oil Corporation (NOC) Mustafa Sanalla has discussed restarting operations of Russian gas producer Gazprom in the country with the company and can continue the discussion later in October, he told reporters on the sidelines of the Russian Energy Week on Wednesday.

“We have held talks with Gazprom today… concerning business in Libya, how to come back and to resume works in Libya,” Sanalla said. “Yes, we have certain issues and we have discussed how to cope with them.”

The official also said that he would hold a meeting with Tatneft on Friday.
